X Factor USA Show Highlights & Videos from 11/1

Tonight each judge has to send two of their acts to the Top 12 and the other two have to sing one last time to stay in the competition. If they do not perform their best, they are sent home. It is a make or break night for the X Factor contestants. So who will stand strong and who will fold under the pressure. It is now time to find out.

Demi Lovato and her group of young adults take center stage. Demi puts through Jannel Garcia and Paige Thomas. We pretty much expected them to go thorough. So that means that Willie Jones and CeCe Frey will need to sing for their survival. CeCe sings On My Own. Her vocals were the best but she is a performer without a doubt. Willie sings You Don’t Know Me. He was all over the place pitchy. Britney isn’t sure where he fits in and Simon like his audition better than this performance. Demi makes her choice and CeCe stays and Willie Jones is sent home.

LA Reid and his over 25 groups are next to hit the stage. He sent Vino Alan and Tate Stevens to the Top 12. Pretty predictable! So that leaves David Correy and Jason Brock need to sing their way in. David sings Since U Been Gone. He was so out of tone and just an overall horrible performance. He is trying to hard and failing miserably. Jason performs One Moment In Time. His high notes are somewhat harsh but he has such passion when he sings. In the end, David Correy is sent home and Jason moves on to the next round.

Britney and her group of 4 teens are up next. She sends Beatrice Miller and Carly Rose to the next round. So who is up to sing for survival? Diamond White and Arin Ray. Arin performs I Look to You. His vocals are all pitchy. This song is just way too big for this teen. But the judges all want him to stay in the competition. Diamond White sings Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word. Excellent performance. She has a couple of hiccups but overall a great performance. Seems the judges want both to stay but only one can remain. In he end, Diamond White is sent home.

Simon and his groups are last to take center stage. Simon sends Emblem3 and Lyric 145 to the Top 12. So that leaves 1432 and Sister C to sing for the last spot in the Top 2. Sister C sings When I Look at You. The judges were overall pleased. 1432 performs Skyscraper. They stepped it up and definitely gave it all they had and they nailed it. Simon sends Sister C home.
