X Factor USA Show Highlights & Videos from 10/6

It’s on to the second day of X Factor’s boot camp week. Today we will see who will make it through and make up the final 32 acts that will be mentored by the judges. In the previous episodes, the 162 finalists were cut down to 100 and split into ensemble groups. They had five hours to learn and rehearse new songs and perform them in front of the judges. One third of the groups will be eliminated from this round.Today we get to see the remaining groups perform. There are five more to go and then we (and them) will learn their fate. Out of the five groups to perform, these two groups stood out, though it is difficult to decide who make it through.

The first group performing today will sing Marvin Gaye’s classic “What’s going on”. In this group are Ma’at Bingham Shango, Gina Rene, Matthew Johnson, Brennin Hunt, Marcus Canty and Equality.

The next group sang the Rascal Flatts track “I Won’t Let Go”. In the group are Tim Cifers, Mathew Slovacek, Kingston, Hannah Bethel and Thomas Wells. Unlike the other groups, they did not perform together, taking the stage one at a time.

The judges then decided who would make it through and who would get cut. One by one the groups were called and we ended up with the field reduced to 64 acts.

Now it’s the final selection before we get down to the 32 who will be mentored. This time around there will be more pressure as they were given 35 and told to choose a song them represents them as acts. They then performed in front of an audience of 3000 people! This final 32 will then be split in to the four groups. Here are some of the performances:
